Yes THC stays in your system longer but even though it shows up in your system the effects are not still there and that is a failing of drug testing, worker will use harder drugs instead as it clears from the body with 24hrs.
There would be a lot of baby boomer out there that smoked pot in the 60's and many that still do on occasion, mental health problems are more likely to have to be from other reason.
Fact is that alcohol and tobacco can be more detrimental, but it's not use that is the problem, it's abuse that causes problems. IE over eating is a problem
