how to get the new shares, page-5

my understanding from Frank is that you pay direct for the rights you were issued against your shares but you must pay through your broker for any rights you bought on market. I have both.....now I'm worried because I HAVEN'T received an email from etrade. I did ring them and fax them though.....but I would have thought any emails from them would be sent out automatically.
