1) Do you have a US computershare online account? If not, you can set one up using your DRS number. Once set up you can add your tax info. Just make sure you change the Computerhare website to "US" as it will probably default to Australia.
2) Make sure that the name on your DRS matches exactly with the name of your IBKR transfer request, including or excluding your middle name.
Otherwise email IBKR to ask the precise reason for the problem as i found they are very responsive and helpful.
