Denben and Apprentice, I agree the Future Fund should have a role to play, but the govt shouldnt force them to, it should be done on its merits, financially and socially, the FF after all was set aside to pay the retirement of public servants, in OZs case thier investment would be a small %, but RIOs debt, thats a different matter.

I have just finished watching inside business online, one thing that stuck out (amongst many) was AMs quote

'what we were hit with was a short term liquidity squeeze"

what do we do about it, well we sell the whole box and dice, at a huge discount, then we take a position with the suiter, thats how I read it anyway.

Does any one remember from the AGM apr07, stephen mayne asked some quite pertanent questions about metals prices and hedging, he we fobbed off by the board, was it OH or BC that answered his question, cant find it in BRR that interview doesnt contain the question and answer part...hopefully someone knows the answer
