I've done well in several of those stocks you mention, due in part to a couple of takeovers I reluctantly accepted at the time. At the end of the day its all about timing. Not many goldies are buy and hold forever.
My issue with FML, and I halved my holding at 3.1c, is that the $225 could reduce quite quickly and by the end of the year might be down towards $100-125m or only 1c a share or so with not enough to show for the cash expended.
Haven't given up on Focus but boy do they need to show some results now they have the cash to drill.
