Chris Ellison bought his $1.3 billion worth of NWE shares for around 3 cents. Since he made his takeover offer for the company, the share price has soared to 6.3 cents, doubling his equity. Curiously, most of the afternoon bids in the 6.3 cent vicinity yesterday afternoon were low volume bot trades. Somebody has a vested interest in the share price increasing.
