Hey, I've been holding D13 for a while now and think that MESMER can address a part of the problem. Especially where drones are manually controlled by amateurs, that often don't mean any harm.

I do have my concern around it mitigating planned attacks, and hope you can ease some of those concerns. Many drones now have the funtionality to fly on pre-programmed flight paths. This means they don't require an operator, or live inputs to complete a preset course. Am I correct in assuming that MESMER would be complete powerless to those kind of threats?

Also, and please excuse my lack of knowledge on this, wouldn't it be fairly easy to add a layer of encryption to the radio control signal of the drone? If I was to plan a attack via drone for some reason, I probably have access to the technical resources required to add an encrytion layer to the control.
