BG
Crikey mate, thats a little bitter n twisted I feel.
I dont overly follow demographics, but at a fresh 50 myself, I suspect I am a tail end boomer.
Yes I got a free university education, but that about the end of government largess as far as it relates to my circumstances. I have repaid that debt by creating and maintaining an average 40 ongoing job in my engineering consulting business.
No tertiary education living allowance ... no first home owners scheme ... no govt payment to entice us to have children ... and come retirement time, no govt handouts.
Dont get me started on demographics though lol. Which one is it ... Gen Y I think ... they want work life balance ... interesting work experiences ... time off to watch the children grow up ... unsustainable salaries for minimum effort ... the best that money can buy before they have money ... oops, I shouldnt stereotype should I BG lol.
Yours in jest (mostly)
