You are not dealing with what the bible say about God as being the author of evil. You just skirt around the issue.
What are the implications of an omniscient/omnipotent creator deliberately creating evil, deliberately tormenting his creation, essentially like a child burning ants with a magnifying glass, is it just for a kick, to ease the boredom or burdon of eternity? Amusement? What else?
