    Not too sure it would be successful with anyone who had done a Level 1 St. Johns Ambulance course:

    Rule 1
    If patient is motionless, do not attempt to rescucitate without first kicking them on their legs, to get a reaction, to see if they are drugged and possibly dangerous.

    .........

    We were taught that you shouldn't just go up to someone who was lying motionless and begin rescucitation in case they were drugged (say on ice) and could therefore possibly lash out.

    Of course, being a spider and having 8 legs would be a considerable advantage with this method - at least 7 of them wouldn't be bruised.

    Let me know if you have any success with it Downside though. It's certainly a novel approach. Perhaps with a bit of food in the mouth you might end up being the recipient of the Heimlich manouevre ;-)
