There's no fully electric Camry, Focus or Jetta. Toyota think Hybrid is better than full EV and don't want EVs either anymore.
The threat from Vanadium, Manganese and Sulfur is very real over LiMH / LiFePO4. "Glass" batteries are another future form of competition.
Hence why we can't rely on low recovery rates and a lack of development.
