You're obviously new to a stock market cycle. I'm not calling you an idiot... more ill-informed. So let me remind you of one of the basics. When RBA says they are increasing interest rates, you sell, much like everyone else including the so called shorters. When RBA gives hint or says they will loosen monetary policy, you buy, much like everyone else including the so called shorters who will switch gear and buy.
If you're surprised by the tanking of market value of the company you hold shares, blaming it on shorters as opposed to the, how many rate hikes did we have I lost count (?) then idiot is not the word I'd use... I'd use foolish. Dumb money some may say.
