I doubt I know more about the stock market than you given your purported credentials but this America obsession you have is simply bizarre. As if Aussie companies don't have loose lips here and there. Not pervasive sure but not easy to police either. That isn't a conspiracy, simply one facet.
I'm lucky I didn't need to sell on the way down and incur a significant loss. I hope those that did some how can recoup.
Shorters weren't the sole reason the CXO SP slipped but there was a material influence once the sell side was artificially inflated due to shorting. Denying this is comical.
Finally, I may indeed one day consult a professional financial advisor but it certainly won't be a condescending try hard who uses terms like "kid" or "nutter" like your good self - or needs to live their final years grandstanding over retail investors on the internet for fullfillment. It will be a professional with integrity and decorum.
