And they are buying gold and a lot of it. It is the start of institutional panic buying for gold. The institutions that can't get physical are ploughing into ETFs.
I can't wait for the day when I walk into any CBA branch and hand in my gold bars to deposit. Hard to find a reputable gold dealer that won't fleece you a premium these days.
In some countries gold is part of the retail banking system. Luxembourg, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Singapore etc The ones that know what a good store of wealth is. Just a dream, one day...
