CBA is not far off the size of Coca Cola ($308b USD)... CBA is bigger than: Nike $92b USD: 20 PE IBM has a $250b market cap, and has gone crazy at 48 PE... but it's IBM, not a bank MCdonalds has $226b market cap, 28 PE American Express is $200b... PE 20... BP is just $57b GBP
These are giant global companies....
Yet CBA, has a $293b market cap and almost 31 PE... It's not a tech company, it doesn't even have a "moat".. It's a bank, that is tied to housing and consumer spending...
I wouldn't be surprised if some hedge funds are going to see the joke that it is and short this baby, just to watch the boomers weap.
And the ultimate tragedy? Imagine if gov kept half to the bank...
Or... if the bank was owned by the people...
Their market cap is the equivalent of $31k per Aussie households... crazy how much they fleece from Australians.
