Hmm! I don't think it matters where you head is pointing.

At Home I am pointing West, on a yacht, which ever way the wind is blowing.

You will find that when sleeping with a woman in a double bed,or twin, a man will normally sleep between the door and partner.

Goes back to caveman days I have read,where man will sleep at Cave entrance to protect his woman from predators.

That would be interesting to know of how many HC men do that.
