    Hey Ravi, just thinking a bit differently here, . . what about making a "cap" for the mixer, . . if its the "splash" your worried about (obviously you do quite a bit of this so you know the exact mix for each brew, hence you load up the mixer with the dry mix & then add the right amount of water with a dash of detergent, colouring etc) you could cut a circular "cap" out of plywood or something similar & then attach to front of the bowl by say 3 strong rubber straps & a hook system - detach when mixed & pour.

    Alternatively you could also cut a wee hole in the dead centre of the cap & after putting the dry mix in the bowl, place the cap on & pour the water through the hole - the advantage of this is that it will be less load on the motor when you start it with a load in it from a standstill - well its just an alternative & food for thought;)
