If you are only buying 5k worth of Gold and Silver you might as well buy physical, because it's not a large quantity, so not that hard to store.

ETFs are more for trading as you can buy and sell them with the click of a button. However, in the end you are only buying a piece of paper that promises you some gold/silver.

Gold stocks are obviously more risky, because not only do you have to worry about the price of gold/silver, but you also have to worry about management, debt, cashflow, etc, etc.

Gold companies can go bankrupt gold bullion can not.

If I only had 5k to invest I would just buy physical Silver. You don't really have enough cash to buy stocks.
