Find current situation rather disheartening; this was an appraisal well ‘drilled to establish the extent and size of a petroleum deposit already discovered by a wildcat well’.
Would have assumed that the technical guys running the show have catered to all sorts of likely problems- even while conceding O&G activities are complex and somewhat unpredictable.
Do MAY have the right technical guys for this job?? Do they need a better technical team?
Assuming a leaky ship, as suggested on this forum by a member, it appears a solution has not yet been found.
(drop from 4.6 to 4.1).
This is not an indicator of future events but I think MAY needs to explain what is going wrong and why their activities did not deliver the desired & planned result. The first part has been explained somewhat in their last announcement but the second part has not been explained clearly ie., what problems they had made provision for and what actually took place. Also, what possible actions can be undertaken to rectify issue.
