You ignore in this analysis that CCP has started a new business in consumer lending. They have used free cash flow from the debt buying business to invest in consumer lending (successfully) and in the USA expansion (so far yet to receive a return on their investment). All businesses are connected by the use of technology - they can pick and choose who they lend money to based on their data from the debt business. They have fundamental efficiencies with onshore and offshore staffing options.
Valuation depends on growth and growth prospects plus record low interest rates are another factor.
I am happy to hold long term. Selling too early is the biggest investment mistake one can make. I can remind myself of my purchase of CSL at the float for $2.40, sold and made 100% about 18 months later. Stupid! still working now if I held I would be retired!
