Lets run through some numbers to get a rough idea of what LPE should be valued at, per GW.
We know the revenue is $220k per GW, we also know the contracts are 5-10years in length. Hence the revenue per GW over this period is $1.1-2.2mil.
Now consider if you will that LPE becomes a takeover target. The principal reasons for takeover by one of the major power companies would be to effectively buy the customer base. You would expect if the strata are being offered the best rates on the market the retention rates would be high when contracts come up for renewal.
So based on this it would be quite reasonable to value LPE at about $2-2.5mil per GW.
Now at 450GW which is the long term target the value using $2mil per GW is just shy of $1bil MC. With about 2.2bil shares on issue after all milestones are met this would equate to a share price on the vicinity of 45c!!!!
At 100GW it would be about 10c.
I feel this could be the target over the coming years. It won't happen right away but if LPE continue to grow at or greater than the current rate, 45c isn't out of the question.
I will be buying much more in the coming months.
