thanks guys, a couple of good opinions.
makes me think that yes, it is a possible bubble, but if printing does continue with a probably QE3 then the value of gold against the US$ will go up, as the value of the paper just dropped.
the aussie dollar then comes into play...
as a commodity currency it copuld fall as well.
