The million mile battery is already here and they are not using Novonix patented technology(as far as we know). Tesla has its own propriety technology developed in Jeff Dahn's lab that is patented and claims a million miles. CATL has also recently announced they have a million mile battery and it is ready to go right now.
Maybe there is a link back to Novonix but there has been no mention of it, as yet. Perhaps the order from Samsung will help them produce a million mile battery, who knows. But it appears that other companies have the quality graphite available from other sources for a million mile battery.
