Chris Burns points out that NVX is not competing for market share against existing players. The growth in demand is so great there is plenty of upsizing for everyone. SK Innovations will need 60,000t when fully ramped and Tesla at least double that just for the American market. Unless some of the foreign companies are prepared to build supply chains in the USA, they will be frozen out of the American market, by govt decree. According to Burns testing, the Hitachi anode is comparable to NVX but is very expensive. Elon is on a major drive to reduce battery cost to finally put a nail in the ICE coffin. So the short answer is they will compete on cost and quality and govt support. I would suggest you wait til BD like the rest of us before you make too many pontifications. If any large player comes on board with a substantial contract, and 2 are having a very decent sniff, then this stock will boom, with plenty more tech to come. Feral
