Mr Gordon, why do you say there are 3 beasts? Revelation 16:13 and 19:20 mention only 2,not including the dragon, satan.(ie the false prophet-2horned lamb and the scarlet colored- 7 headed one). The dominant, Anglo American head of the beast, cannot realistically be said to have suffered a death stroke during WW1.Whilst there was a heavy loss of life, their empires remained intact.In fact the British empire is regarded as reaching its zenith at that time. America went from strength to strength,having won the war, after all. Their governments were not under threat from civil unrest as in the Vietnam era. Arguably, the only major power to have its form of government destroyed at that time was Tzarist Russia.What we are awaiting is a totalitarian world government 8th king(revelation 13:16 17:11) also described in Daniel 8:23 as a fierce looking king.
