I agree, technology will deliver new ways we can connect digitally and the need to fly to business meetings may be reduced. New patterns of behaviour will evolve post COVID-19.
However, the leisure side will resume and build quickly due to, in part, pent up demand after travellers have put life on hold. Over the long term, the number of global flights have continued to increase. And with fit for purpose re-sizing of aircraft to suit a larger selection and choice of destinations, I expect these numbers will quickly surge post COVID-19. Flight Centre should be in a strong position to capitalise with a leaner and also fit-for-purpose refit of the business moving forward.
