The shorts are urgently covering (with restraint) before the volume dries completely.
Low volume will create the scenario you are talking about.
Soon this stock will be left to the diehards and gamblers, and I don't think there are many of those.
There will be a rally on the next news if its half allright so they can distribute whats left over. I'm sure the usuall suspects here will say the right thing at the right time.
