Even if the tech is not safe (I have no idea if it is - maybe shoot them an email). EMC already has a head start as well as having GE on their side. They've also got the right management to drive the company

I just read about some research they've been doing at Victoria University in Melbourne about a membrane that treats water (sounds like EMC, right?) - not too much info in it but a nice quick read nonetheless

Down the bottom they mention that " VU is already investigating opportunities here and in China."

EMC have already got the foundations in place and are signing the partnerships to expand successfully into China (no mean feat).

Any startup competitor is at least half a decade from being able to compete with EMC and the big players would rather acquire.
