In the first place controlling the infrastructure is no advantage but a huge financial burden and risk, given the billions needed to acquire frequency spectrum, to roll out a network and maintain it and you have to carry that burden and risk over quite some time until all that Capex has been written off. Therefore from an investor's perspective MVNOs can be seen as a leveraged investment in the growth of mobile communications, however with a limited downside. There is enough evidence for the sustainable success of the MVNO model in Europe and amaysim seems to have a stronger position in Australia than any European MVNO ever had before in this market. No worries, big eggs and happy easter.
