I'd like to see links on most of what you said - PNG etc. One needs to know more than 'something doesn't work' - one needs to know why.
It's like being stuck in the outback with a car that doesn't go ---------- yeah, ok, it doesn't go
knowing why would be very helpful.

who chooses if an issue is 'important'? ------------ how many issues would one get to vote on?
Surely it would have to be voting by internet - not physical polling stations - it would be unwieldy and enormously costly --------- and it would not allow folk without internet to participate -
if you can supply us with some links on how the Swiss do it or similar - it might help.
