Mozz, I get it that you want to believe and you want to hope that there is a solution, but I find your hopium needs some reality check from time to time. I am not sure where this forward sell of royalty 1st began getting airtime (was it @farmerbob?), but it has to stop.
Clearside, used actual collateral to secure that funding. What collateral you ask, well it was their 1st approved commercial product (Xipere). So 1 products sales revenues supports the development / study of another, all very normal, but PAR doesn't have any of that collateral. The people at Healthcare Royalty have a due diligence process and part of that screening is NOT investing in a product that has not completed phase 3 development. How do I know this? Well the good people at HCR were kind enough to give me 20 minutes of their time this morning for a conference call.
