GST is a fair tax because you are only taxed on what you choose to spend your money on.
Rent is GST free, most food is GST free, medicines are GST free.

If you are on a very low income you would need to buy very few items with GST on them & therefore very little of your income spent would be taxed.
If you are better off or rich a very high proportion of the items you purchase would have GST on them & therefore you would pay a lot more GST.

why do people think low income earners have financial wisdom to avoid luxury items , they also buy into the commercials pumped into their brains daily. please explain what regressive tax is and how countries deal with it for low to no income people.
