Target $22.80 (was $24.00). The broker is growing increasingly concerned about the company's credit risk profile, especially in the UK, but also at a group level.
The broker has lowered its FY13-15 EPS estimates by 5%, 3% and 1% to include higher BDD assumptions, with the FY14 DPS estimate also cut, as BA-ML believes NAB will need more headroom to deal with the UK and higher provisions in general. Underperform call maintained.
I think the only thing they would be increasingly concerned about for now would be their increasingly brown shorts if they had worn any. Anyway five more sleeps before we find out how the bank is doing.
