Yes the Xmas island facility is a money devouring joke.
Cost a fortune to build, no doubt the contracts went to palm greasing mates of this fed govt.
But even better is that for much of the time there are more staff there than internees so we are paying a huge wages bill for effectively little or no work from the employees.
Government waste to the max.
