cardano, Australia and East Timor are not able to simply adjust the boundaries to suit the financial needs of one party. There are more countries involved. The international convention on sea boundaries has been drawn up to provide a standard means of establishing ownership in all circumstances all around the world, surely you know that. For Australia to go against such international law would set a precedence that would result in perhaps all presently established boundaries coming into dispute. Australia has avoided this by recognising the boundaries according to international law, but doing a separate deal with regards to royalties which doesn't compromise anything. As I said ,put aside the emotional arguments and look at the bigger picture.
