well put banjar,
It is sad to see how our best and brightest are treated when they strive for the last hurdle and find that circumstances are working overwhelmingly against them.
The unions spent an apparent $100 million to defeat John Howard's government. They will of course be expecting a huge return on investment from this over the next few years.
Rudd's start as the sign-first-then-read-then-backflip-cowboy with his rushed kyoto signing is an embarassment to Australia. It shows the sharp operators of the world that we hae elected a bunch of dumb hillbillies to represent us.
But all is not lost as long as we can get an effective opposition to stop rudd for further selling out our nation interest in a high speed unthinking rush especially with kyoto 2 coming up.
In the years to come, most if not all Australians who voted for rudd and handed the country to the union bosses will lament the terrible mistake thay have made and long for the return of a leader like John Howard.
