I aggree with you 100% on that Alan.
I think that Kevin Rud is really just younger John Howard, at least what I have heard from him so far. If he wins it will really be a punisment to John Howard, not endorsement of anything Kevin Rudd said so far. I think he and Labor Party are trying to play clever politics and as you said make themselves as small target as possible.
Sometimes I wonder what will they really come up with, if they win. They will not really have mandate for anything. Some broad statements that we need to improve hospitals and education are stating bleeding obvious. Education revolution is an empty statement if we are not told what it means.
Their promises on industrial relations is realy just a name change in my opinion, just one concrete change in it is to repeal AWA's you can only guess, what else if anything will be changed.
More I hear Rudd talk, less I like him, but I will not vote for sneaky John that is for sure.
