They are illegal border jumpers , and couldve sought asylum in Taiwan, ethnically and culturally identical.
Genuine refugees escape to the closest free country, illegal economic immigrants fly to their destination of choice.
They willingly and knowingly have broken our laws,they are exactly where they should be.....in detention..... get over it.
