This is my take on todays announcement.It's just Howards way of doing things,he sometimes doesn't word announcements the way most would,he needs to take into account what the markets perception of what hes saying will have on QMCs share price.

Weather Conditions:HR has done the right thing here.He needs to let the share holders know that QMCs retaining ponds and infrastructure are sound and being monitored for any failure,which would be enviromentally and legally damaging.

The current drilling program was successfully completed in November prior to the onset of the heavier,expected, seasonal rainfall.In other words we still have all our drilling results/announcements still to reported in the coming weeks.

Resource Reporting, Drilling and Related Corporate Matters:
Drilling is being planned for the south of Cloncurry expected to commence March-April 2011.Nothing new there we all know about the wet season.

Corporate and new season activities will be covered in the Quarterly report, which is due for release at the end of January.That's only two weeks away and i can wait,if there is a JV announcement in there.

Resources estimates for Young Australian and the Mt Freda mines delayed,that's okay and to be expected.The reason for the delay is soft and he would have been better leaving that out.
