I’ve heard from a person highly knowledgeable of the coal industry who attended the official opening of the Burton site last week. His clear view is that “all is going well” at BCB, and that the recent decline in the company’s share price Is related mainly to the corresponding downturn in the coking coal price.
BCB’s fortunes on the ASX will significantly improve, in my view, once it has clear-cut ‘runs on the board’ with respect to earnings, cost control and cash flow. All going well, that should happen within the next 3-6 months.
