@acorn; Berejiklian misled the people of NSW into thinking Covid control was easy for NSW and that to start with a circuit breaking lockdown wouldn't even be needed.

After putting off doing anything at all for a week or so she began to panic and to warn that a lockdown might be needed. People took little notice and as numbers began to climb she imposed a two week softish lockdown.

Then she talked up how tough the lockdown was and that because the world's best contract tracers were rounding it up that it might even be possible top end the lockdown early - the bozos had to break free and they did just that!

Well, overnight something else happened and those watching the Barty match at Wimbledon learned in the wee hours of the morning that there were leaks to the media indicating the lockdown would be extended by a week.

This morning we learned of 27 new cases, many of which have NOT been in isolation. Gladys even let slip that there are even more cases already but that they'll count against tomorrow's figures.

    So!

Have NSW contract tracers stuffed up and now performing well below Victoria's platinum standard, has the virus gone up a notch and new superspreader events occurred or has Gladys just lost her nerve and not up for the challenge that Andrews faced in June 2020?
