Interest rates are going up and many first home buyers have been priced out. Investors are not happy as interet rates are very low and rental value is now stagnant.
Perth is still moving nicely as the median is only around 300K but gone are the days where newly married couples could buy in areas where they grew up in. All the renovation programs on TV are dead. Wages will have to go up or there will be a significant downturn until an equilibrium is reached.
