@moondoong; Daniel Andrews' biggest mistake was to trust the private sector to behave ethically and efficiently during a pandemic:

    1. Contracting out to the private sector what should have been done by responsible and accountable state government employees such as Victorian Police while relying on private hotels to do anything other than $Make $Profits has proven a terrible mistake.

    2. Morrison's federally funded and accredited aged care sector in Victoria could not have done worse - the story is far from finished and approximates world worst practice. Andrews took too long to bang Morrison's table and to rattle Hunt's cage.

    3. Relying on the private sector to undertake contract tracing has proven to be another major mistake - the daily number of 'cases under investigation' is a joke and a measure of just how incompetent Victoria's private sector is.

On a positive note, Victoria's public sector health staff and Police are doing magnificent work, Victoria's state government run aged care centres are almost virus-free and Victoria's wonderful public school staff are again doing what they always do so professionally [what governments require of them]. The overwhelming majority of Victorians has again responded responsibly to restrictions despite what's being spewed out by Murdoch Mouthpieces.
