I don't think anyone is trying to match Apple's sales, but anyone who can maintain a share of an ever increasing market, is a winner.
HP don't have a share of this market at the moment, but as the market grows in double digits every year it won't be difficult for a big and trusted name like HP to gain a foothold - and then things just look after themselves. I'm sure all of us know at least one friend, family member or colleague who wants something better looking and with better audio quality and features than Airpods. If 1 in 100 Airpod customers make the switch to HP buds, that's almost 1m unit sales right there, without even counting buyers who are new entrants to the wireless buds market.
Bullish? Yes.
