Or lack working close to a strategy. Not the tech. I really hope that capital raising is not too close.

Wired is preferred for some gear (Including gaming). Wireless can be unreliable in high performance settings, battery life is an issue. As there is no performance benefit at all, nobody could care less about paying more for wireless. It's an aesthetic and convience thing in some cases, but not all.
