ICP-MS vs GDMS

FYI used ICP for the last Pilot to get quick turnaround as ICP excels at that, to be followed up with GDMS from a NY Lab

i.e. FYI last Pilot run ann (Feb)
"Alumina grades were determined based on intermediate pilot products. Solid samples
were leached in DI Water and submitted for low detection limit ICP analysis. This supported
the calculation of the total mass of impurities and alumina within the sample rendering an
alumina grade for each product."

Whereas for some reason A4N has just used GDMS, maybe because it does full elemental analysis which would be important if you are using external feedstock.
