Climate change act 2011 for granting of permits is totally specific to the power station.
planting 10 acres of trees or another wind farm 500 klms away ,or carbon capture,or an autoclave 1km underground/exergen does not qualify.
use of waste heat,to produce a product that can be used at the plant without modification ... boxes ticked ADD benefits of above link .
