I was involved in the construction of the new woodlawn plant near Tarago, and some maintenance of the site post construction, whilst revisiting several times for shut down maintenance. Its been nothing but a drama since becoming operational. The crusher failed early on and required major repair, the tailing water canons constantly failing, along with the inline HP pumps. allowing certain contractors to employ incorrectly skilled labour (motorbike mechanics and cabinet makers doing mechanical fitting work)
The HRR management know this, the construction crews, crane and crusher specialist are all of high quality, but the maintenance contractor is highly underwhelming.
I travel nationally working on several sites in all states and this is by far the most poorly handled. all imo, i am not downramping, you may see some positives with this project that I do not. DYOR. Personally I do not believe woodlawn will continue running past medium term.
