Nobody knows why MM is going. Perhaps he sees HRT are going to have to get very big and corporate with 2 successful drills and he wants to stay in touch in the more technical aspects rather than big company bureaucracy. Maybe he wants to spend more time with his family. We know that the behavior of the market and its inclination (as he sees it) to value HRT's assets at Zero Dollars clearly bothers him a great deal. Is this about to change - or get a whole lot worse. Your guess I'm sure is as good as mine.
Maybe Namibia is a disaster and he feels he has to stand down. Who know.
All will be revealed I'm sure in the next 2 weeks.
