Artline70, you're not Robinson Crusoe in thinking there's machinations going on behind the scenes. I fear the well heeled people who inhabit the upper echelons of the extractive and exploration end of the market,live in a completely different world to us mere peasants. In too many cases-I wont say all-we're taken for granted, and treated as nothing more than a source of funds. Not as clients/shareholders to be served.Or even fellow investors. Games are being played to ensure some get more than their fair share.There are rules in place to mitigate it, but until those rules are enforced and some of those 'well heeled' individuals end up in jail or suffer heavy fines,nothing will change.The best recourse we have-other than cop a severe loss and move on-is to follow and support those shareholders who're prepared to put in the hard yards and take the b****ds on.
